Plot: When her father enlists to fight for the British in WWI, young Sara Crewe goes to New York to attend the same boarding school her late mother attended. yes. if this is a serious relationship then you should. If it ever leads to anything he’ll find out eventually. Keep in mind as well, people talk. They may run into you and casually mention in conversation to her father or he may run into you as well. It would be best to hear it from you first instead of getting caught or from someone else. This will allow him time to understand it and chill out and be cool around the both of you.

He’ll never look at his daughter the same again and i’d consider not only will your friendship be over, but he’ll go through a murderous stage. Hes been protecting his daughter for 26 years.
I am not sure if you should, but i find it sorta sick you talk about her like that, you seem to want to get this perfect girl in trouble
Bu then again shes a adult now its her decision, just be careful when you dump her she may go to daddy and daddy may come after you with a shotgun

when i read the question tagline i was thinking i would be on your side as i am in a relationship with a guy twice my age and thought my answer would be a breath of fresh air against all the ‘age gaps are wrong’ answers….but….reading the full question changed my mind.there doesnt seem to be any feelings or love in the relationship you have, which is fine usually if both parties are happy with it then who am i to judge? but you’re putting your friendship on the line for just sex, you dont seem like you will be bothered if she leaves you/you leave her. and coming clean will tear everything up, your friendship and the love he has for his daughter. if you are serious about her then yes, telling him would be the best thing to do, in time you would prove it, but if its just a fling then i dont see any good coming out of it.either end it now and say no more or…keep it going but make sure neither of you let it slip.

Doesn’t sound like you should come clean. Doesn’t sound like you should be seeing this girl. Don’t get me wrong, if you said you were in love with your best mates daughter that would be one thing but you’re basically saying, you’ll have any two-bit ho that will let you! Do you really want your friendship of 37 years to go out like that?
If you have any sense, and let’s be frank here, it doesn’t sound like you have much. I would just go pick up some other piece of skirt that is shallow enough to find an aged, rich guy with a flash car exciting enough to give more than a cursory glance and leave the best mates child alone. You don’t love her, so don’t mess with her. If you keep at it, then you deserve to lose your best mate.

Well I think you should pick someone of your own age… OH sorry that someone has most probably have more brains as you can cope with. Just leave her alone and let her meet someone she deserves. There are plenty of other women who want to be done and dumped with from you ( something for you to add on your list to push your ego ). If you have any character look at her as your daughter. And have a little respect for your friend.
